Yoga has opened my heart and enhances my life in so many ways.
Being a certified and licensed massage therapist has also given me a deeper insight to healing techniques and a heightened awareness of body mechanics. I love to delve into learning more and work on balance every day.
I began my studies over twenty years ago at Kripalu Center of Yoga and Health and continued to practice regularly ever since. I have studied Hatha and Vinyasa extensively with Infinite Yoga in Alaska. I dove deeper into my practice by attending workshops on Ayurveda Yoga, Partner Yoga, Thai Yoga & Massage, Meditation, & Children's Yoga. My RYT200 certification is through a comprehensive & inspiring training at Aura Wellness Center. I continue to study through classes focused on Alignment, Balance, and Therapeutic Yoga techniques. I feel so fortunate to have truly amazing teachers!
I enjoy sharing what I've learned over the years. I have worked with the elderly, the young, folks with special needs, and I have true respect for diversity. I learned Shiatsu Massage, Qi Gong, Zen meditation, and valuable lessons when I lived overseas.
When I am away from the studio/mat, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also thrive by spending time in nature. I enjoy gardening, hiking, skiing, swimming, playing music, listening to music, reading and dancing. I feel so fortunate to live a healthy life.
