This class comprises a small, informal group that meets each Sunday evening to share in meditation together. The goals are to have an opportunity to learn meditation practices from several traditions, to experience the energy of meditating in a group and to build encouragement for our own individual practice.
There are many possible reasons for wanting to meditate. It is true that meditation can help us relax, help us cope with stress, encourage healthy balance and build calm and equanimity. Above all, meditation helps us understand the process of our mind, and through that understanding, we can begin to experience the true nature of the world and our place in it.
Whatever reason you have for wanting to meditate, we hope that you will join us on the path. Absolute beginners or seasoned meditators welcome! This class is offered free to the community as a gift from Breathe Yoga & Massage and meditation instructor, Chris Robson.
